Jump Started My Career

Cincinnati State holds a special place in my heart. It was the jump start I needed to succeed. Right after graduating from Cincinnati State’s Audio/Video Production program, I had the opportunity to work at FOX19 as their Marketing Producer. I ultimately produced more than 600 commercials and ads while there. I went on to become a Senior Video designer at a local manufacturing company.

I felt I was ready for the work force because my instructors gave me the knowledge and courage to be prepared in my career. Since then I have graduated with my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree. I have returned as an adjunct instructor at Cincinnati State in the same program I graduated from. And I currently work for Fifth Third Bank’s Learning Solutions and Development department.

I get the honor of helping our 21,000+ employees develop their careers. I use the techniques and skills I learned from Cincinnati State on a daily basis. For that, I am forever grateful.
